Mirren Jones paid their first visit to the SWRI, kicking off the new session in the church hall Meigle, Perthshire. A lively and appreciative audience heard Marion and Elaine read extracts from 'Eight of Cups' and answer questions on their relationship and how they achieved their goals. The two later judged the competition to find 'the most unusual cup.'
We experienced another very enjoyable evening in the company of a large group of SWRI members. What an interesting organisation this is, with a fascinating history - eg we learnt tonight that the meetings were traditionally held at full moon so that the women could see their way back home!
A fifty strong group waited patiently while Marion tested 10 jars of lemon curd and 10 plates of cherry scones! Elaine had the easier task of judging 'flower of the month'. Marion enjoyed the lemon curd just as much as the audience seemed to enjoy hearing extracts from Eight of Cups.
